What I collect, and why.
Last updated September 21, 2026. This is a plain-English summary, not legal advice.
What I collect
- What you type into a form. The free post form asks for your name, business name, email, website, what you do and where, and optionally a phone number. The contact form asks for your name, email and a message.
- Your price tool answers. If you use the price tool and then ask for a free post, your answers and the estimate are sent along with the form.
- Basic server logs. Like almost every website, the server that hosts this one keeps technical logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, to keep it running and stop abuse.
This site doesn't run advertising trackers. It doesn't run analytics at the moment either. If I add basic analytics, I'll update this page first.
Why I collect it
To write your free post, to reply to you, and, if you become a client, to send invoices and do the work. That's all.
Who else sees it
Nobody I sell it to, because I don't sell it, rent it or trade it. It's stored on the web host that runs this site, which holds it on my behalf and not for its own purposes. The site's fonts load from Google Fonts, so Google sees a request from your browser when a page loads.
Cookies
The public site doesn't set cookies. The staff login sets one cookie so I stay signed in; it isn't used for anything else.
How long I keep it
As long as it's useful for the reason you gave it to me. If you asked for a free post and we don't end up working together, I'll delete your details when you ask.
Getting it deleted
Email [email protected] and ask. I'll delete what I hold about you and confirm when it's done. If I need to keep something, like an invoice for tax records, I'll say what and why.
